Learn this classic and powerful qigong, handed down, teacher to student since the 6th Century AD. Legend tells  that when the Indian Monk (or perhaps Persian), Bodhidarma, journeyed to the Shaolin Monestary in the middle of China, he was disturbed by the poor physical condition of the meditating monks.  He taught them the movements of the Yi Jin Jing – or tendon easing form to improve their circulation, flexibility and strength.  This famous monk, known also as Da Mo in China, is also credited with developing the martial art that became Kung Fu, as well Ch’an meditation, which evolved into Zen Buddhism.

In this 8 hour class we will learn and practice the form, taught by Jerigtu who has learned the form from his teacher in a long lineage extending back to Shaolin Monestary!

Saturday April 25th 10 am to 6 pm  at SAM-MA.  (Seattle Asian Medicine and Martial Arts, Lake City Way.)
