Yi Jin Jing is one of the best-preserved qigong exercises of old. Translated as “sinews regenerating and transforming”  or “tendon-easing” classic, it was originally developed by BodhiDharma at Shaolin Monastery in the 6th Century AD.   As the Chan/Zen Buddhist monks practiced the stretching and strengthening movements, they found Yi Jin Jing not only increased their vitality and cured aches and pains, but also greatly enhanced their meditations.  Yi Jin Jing is designed to move qi (energy) around the body and align the spine for the energy to travel upward.  Yi Jin Jing coordinates movement and breath with the heart and mind to awaken and unify all into one.

Attend Level 1, learning the first set of movements, or Level 2, adding additional healing movements and deepening your practice   OR attend both at a savings 15% off the individual ticket prices!

Workshop leader Jerigtu Borjigin, Mongolian healer, grew up in the land where Shamanism originated and comes  from a family of well-known Shamans, healers, and Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoches.  He is the sole successor of a rare Taoist lineage of Yi Jin Jing.  Jerigtu travels with his wife, teacher and healer Claire Guyu Johnson, teaching and practicing Qigong and traditional Mongolian medicine in the US, Europe and Asia.

Yi Jing Jing (Sinew Transforming Classic)

“Toughen my sinews, harden my bones,
Make my blood flow freely,
I will then be young forever
In touch with the realm of gods.”
